General Motors' autopilot department, Cruise Automation, is planning to Air Suspension set up an internal taxi service for people outside the company to get a small part of the automakers involved and test their technology with the public.
Cruise's plans for public beta testing are at an early stage. General statement Milin Mehta declined to discuss the specific timetable and said it needed regulatory approval. The Cruise department also declined to comment further on this future business plan.
The taxi service called "Cruise Anywhere", just through a mobile phone application, people can ride it to San Francisco everywhere. Cruise Anywhere fleet cars are converted to Bolt electric cars, these vehicles equipped with the necessary sensors, computers and software. At the same time, each car's driving seat is also equipped with security personnel (legal requirements). Most of the time in the automatic driving state, the security officer will only be involved in an emergency situation.
Cruise Anywhere is still in beta and is therefore limited to employees in San Francisco.
In May of this year, Google's parent company Alphabet's autopilot company, Waymo, announced plans to test with the taxi service company Lyft. Alphabet is currently considering investing in Lyft.
General Motors already owns the shares of Lyft and plans to test its autopilot on the Lyft network.
Cruise is expanding the autopilot test outside of the company and still needs to configure the driver to facilitate the need if necessary. At the same time, the expansion of this business will require a generic re-expansion of the autopilot vehicle Chevrolet Bolt.
At present, only a handful of companies are providing autopilot car services to the public, including Alphabet, Uber and start-up companies nuTonomy.
In the ever-changing climate of the city, it is difficult to drive the car automatically because adjustable coilovers it must learn how to avoid "catch" the traffic jam and storm. Developers are also testing passengers to reflect the autopilot.
Testing autopilot services means GM is exploring future modes of transport, including the production of cars and autopilot technology, through its Maven service to provide car sharing and carpool services.
GM launched a new car sharing service Maven at the beginning of last year, allowing users to rent cars on an hourly basis and pay by hour. Maven users no longer need to use the car keys, only through the smart phone Turbocharger can be seamlessly interconnected with the vehicle. They can use the brand's mobile app to search for and schedule vehicles by location or vehicle type, and unlock the vehicle via a smartphone. At present, Maven has connected Lyft, Uber users, to provide services for them.

The shape of this mobile phone is quite different and rare to see these days. And from the image, it does seem like a google chrome not working rugged phone. Considering those facts, I am expecting this phone to be priced a little high.
